Return & Replacement Policy

At HTK Automotive, every brake pad is checked before it ships. If something isn't right, we're happy to arrange a replacement under the conditions below. Because brake pads are a safety-critical component, a few simple rules help us protect every rider.
1. Order Cancellation
You may request a cancellation any time before your order has been dispatched. To cancel, contact us as early as possible at support@htkautomotive.com with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched it can no longer be cancelled, but it may still be eligible for a replacement.
2. When a Return / Replacement is Accepted
We accept returns and arrange replacements in the following situations:
- Fitment issues — if the received brake pad does not fit, a replacement is accepted only if the product is unopened and unused, in its original sealed packaging.
- Damage during shipping — if the product is damaged in transit, a return can be accepted only with a clear, unedited video proof showing the package being opened (an uninterrupted unboxing recording).
- Wrong / mismatched product — if you ordered a specific part number and received a different part number, we will approve a replacement.
3. Replacement Window
Replacement requests for the situations above are applicable within 14 days from the date the order was placed. Requests raised after this period cannot be processed.
4. Conditions & Proof Requirements
- Keep the original packaging, invoice, and all included contents until your request is resolved.
- A continuous unboxing video is mandatory for any transit-damage claim — start recording before opening the outer package.
- Products that have been installed, used, or fitted cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons, unless found defective or supplied with the wrong part number.
- Each request is reviewed by our team, and replacement approval is at the discretion of HTK Automotive based on the conditions above.
5. How to Request a Return or Replacement
Email us at support@htkautomotive.com or call +91 93848 39090 with your order number, the reason for the request, and supporting photos or the unboxing video. Our team will verify the details and guide you through the next steps.
6. Refunds
We primarily offer replacements. Where a suitable replacement cannot be provided for an approved claim, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
The time it takes for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
7. Installation Recommendations
To get the most out of your HTK brake pads and to keep your replacement eligibility intact, we strongly recommend professional installation:
- Installation should be carried out by a trained technician to achieve the utmost efficiency and safety from the product.
- Check the rotors for any damage and make sure they are free of any type of lubricant or grease.
- Ensure the calipers are dust-free and that the O-rings are in good condition.
- Brake fluid directly affects the performance of our products — it should be checked and maintained at regular intervals.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or normal wear is not covered under this policy.
